I may be getting on lots of people's bad sides, but I totally agree with Stephen King when he says Stephanie Meyer of "Twilight" fame "can't write worth a darn". I read Twilight expecting to absolutely love it. Bella is from my hometown and goes to high school in my school district...AND I have family in a tiny town in upstate Washington! Unfortunately I found her story telling to be so BLAND and BLAH. I had no interest in finding out the end of the story. It was not a page turner.
I did however read the excerpt of "Midnight Sun" on her website and THAT was actually interesting! So maybe she just can't write from a teenage girl's point of view. Hmm.
