rainy weather=soup

This is my idea of absolute heaven. The broccoli cheddar soup and baguette at Panera Bread. For some odd unknown reason there are no Panera Breads in Arizona. According to their website you have to have a net worth of $7.5 million and liquid assets of $3 million to buy a franchise. I know times are tough, but there has to be some rich dude or dudette in AZ that likes bread who wants to open a restaurant! I KNOW it would be a hit. Especially in the Scottsdale area...people in Scottsdale have money and like to spend it on frou frou stuff like fancy sandwiches and coffee.

I've tried making my own with a copycat recipe. The texture came out weird and the taste wasn't right. Then I started trying to just doctor up soup in a can. Crazily enough, the generic Fry's brand of cream of broccoli with lots of extra sharp cheddar grated into it tastes almost exactly the same! I tried Campbell's brand and it wasn't as good.

Now I need to find the perfect baguette-I'll be set. It's a good think it hardly ever rains in AZ or I'd be searching for soup alot more!
